2019 IFJM Celebration
IFJM has been suspended indefinitely. Please read the pinned post about this below.

Participants who Post Their Journals
A list of 2018 participants who are posting their fake journals this year will appear near the top of the right side bar of this blog around April 6. Lists of participants who posted their pages in 2010 through 2017 appear lower in the same column. Please pay them a visit and check out their fake journals.

Roz's 2009 fake journal takes place in an alternate Twin Cites, where disease has killed the human and bird populations. (It ends up being an upbeat tale of friendship.) Watch a video flip through of Roz's 2009 fake journal here.

An Explanation of Roz's 2011 Fake Journal

Since the buttons are flying off to participants it seemed like a good time to let people in on everything that is happening here with my fake journal—who is the author, what does she do for a living, etc.

Because the explanation is a bit lengthy I decided to post it as a page:
What Was She Thinking?—Roz's 2011 Fake Journal Explained.

So if you are interested in who, what, where, when, how—go check it out.

That only leaves Why? To which I can only respond, "Why not?"

Now you understand a bit better why this year's slogan is "Dig Deep."

I read the explanation of your character/s and my head is spinning. How can you keep it all straight in your head? LOL
I did figure out that your character was a mystery writer, and I found Esther's blog in a fluke while googling her name, but the rest of it is so convoluted that my brain still hasn't taken it all in. What fun!

Yes...what Michelle said! I had only when question when I came to comment. How are you managing to stay sane?!! Opps, I have another. Where do you ever find the time for all of this? I admire both your brain power and your energy!

Roz, you... no.
Tyra, you...wait.
Esther...
Hydra?

You are Amazing!

This is the sort of complicated story I love, and it looks like it was a blast to construct. I had found Esther's blog early on, but not Hydra's. Was the link only on Facebook?

Michelle, I have a little notebook for jotting things down (names, places, etc.) My memory is porous!

Judi, we'll answer the sanity question at the end of April. As for the time, well I did allow, as I always do, in April to make time for this, in the way I make time for other large art projects. However, life intervened to take much of that time away. Let's just say I stay up really really late some nights thinking about blog posts!

Sarah, you're funny.

Miss T. Complication is my middle name. I would frankly have to look at the link notes in my notebook. I'm too tired right now!
